Becky Logan

State Manager

Becky Logan always knew she wanted to be a teacher, so she followed her dream and earned a teaching degree in Joplin, Missouri, and a Master's of Education degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. After teaching in the public school setting and becoming a parent, her perspective of the school system changed. She and her husband, David, knew God had called them to educate their children at home.

The Logans have been home schooling their two children since the beginning of their education. "We knew God trusted us to raise two precious gifts for Him. We could do no less than our very best with this trust. For our family, home schooling is our very best. I love being with my children face-to-face, seeing their eyes sparkle when they discover something new. I enjoy the quality time we share as we ask questions and learn together."

Classical Conversations has empowered the Logans to home school at an even higher level. "Our eyes have been opened to things we were not doing for our children. It has helped pull me away from the standard of learning I was used to as a student myself - study, take the test, then forget the information. We are placing a different standard before them saying, 'We know you can do this.'"

Classical Conversations also allows Becky to enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys sewing and baking, having foster children, and helping her husband in planting a new church. "Classical Conversations has been a blessing to us through the guidance, support, and encouragement we receive as we educate our children both intellectually and spiritually. We are walking the path of classical education together."
